As a brand, they are passionate about making people happy. From their clientele to their team, suppliers, artisans and mother earth herself.
Bringing sustainable employment to Indonesia’s rich culture of craftsmanship and creativity, their unique weaving techniques are taught to people of all ages in local communities.
«Growing together, our individual artisans have grown from single families to entire neighborhoods, allowing our team to work from home on their own time while caring for children and tending to homes.»
Organic materials were sourced in Indonesia, resulting in a creative journey that has evolved into this unique range of footwear. We look forward to many more embellished designs as they continue to fuse culture, art and creativity from around the world with their own concepts and passionate style.
The sandals are designed with locally sourced materials. Natural fibers from the leaves of tropical trees are hand-woven using techniques unique to Bulibasha. Each pair of shoes takes up to four days to create, giving their shoes an individual stamp of creativity and artistic passion. Natural dyes are used for the colors and the leather is vegetable tanned
The shoes are entirely handmade without any negative impact on the environment.
